Both Houses in Arizona Pass First Presidential Vetting and Eligibility Bill By Mario Apuzzo, Esq. April 15, 2011 Arizona has become the first state in the nation to pass a presidential vetting and eligibility bill. Yesterday in the Senate at 20-9 and tonight by 40 - 16 (with 4 not voting) in the House of Representatives, the bill was passed. It is now time to start calling Governor Brewer's office. This may need verification, but she has 5 days (possibly as much as 10 but no more than that) to sign it. If she does not sign it at all, the bill becomes law. The only way the bill will not become law is if she vetoes it. The many other states need to follow the lead of Arizona . Contact your state representatives and urge them to follow the lead of the great State of Arizona. Mario Apuzzo, Esq. April 15, 2011 http://puzo1.blogspot.com/ ####

BREAKING NEWS: Arizona House Government Committee Votes 5 to 1 Tonight to Approve a Presidential Eligibility Bill as Part of Renewed Effort in AZ to Get Into Law Measures to Vet the " natural born Citizen " Status and Require Birth Certificate Documents and Constitutional Eligibility of All Presidential and Vice-Presidential in 2012 and All Future Elections. The equivalent Senate Committee tomorrow morning will vote on a similar House initiated bill to get, if passed by that committee, a full Senate vote. Such a bill would protect Article II, Section 1 of our U.S. Constitution and the Citizens of Arizona from usurpation of that clause in our U.S. Constitution. Congress has failed to act on protecting the Pres...

Arizona’s Proposed Interstate Birth Certificate Compact Law As Now Written Is Both Unconstitutional and Contrary to the Best Interests of the United States By Mario Apuzzo, Esq. Written: February 24, 2011 Revised: February 25, 2011 Arizona is considering passing a law that, among other things, would allow a child born in the U.S. to one or two alien parents to be recognized as a “natural born Citizen.” Such a law would be passed in error. Apart from the proposed law being unconstitutional for violating the Supremacy Clause and the Pre-emption Doctrine, a law that recognizes an Article II “natural born Citizen” as including a child born in the U.S. to one or two alien parents would be contrary to what the Founders and Framers designed as a national security safeguard for the Offices of President and Commander in Chief of the Military . In this article, I will address only that part of the proposed law that attempts to define what an Article II “natural born Citizen” is and specifically ...
